Salamatea a social enterprise cafe and restaurant serving delicious Persian food.
Ever since the founding of this restaurant 4 years ago, their mission has always been to provide employment and training for refugees and people seeking asylum.
This is in addition to helping to educate and spread the Persian cultural heritage in culinary delights.
Come for a night where we can both celebrate and learn about both the history and the potential future of both Salamatea as well as the Persian diaspora from Iran to Australia.
To celebrate this Anniversary, this event will be serving authentic dishes following banquet "Party Time" dish selection of the recently released SALAMATI cookbook (page 204) written by Hamed Allahyari along with Dani Valent. You will also have the opportunity to buy a signed copy of SALAMATI to try your hand at replicating any of these delicious dishes you love below! Note that this will not be a sitdown party, instead it would be a standing party so everyone can have a chance to mingle and meet new people!
